A private bagpipe collection seems to be on sale on an auction September 19th. The auction house seem to know what they're selling (which is not always the case when bagpipes go on sale).

That is indeed an incredible collection.
With your (backdated) permission, I have spread the word on a couple of other forums, that are frequented by players of many types of bagpipes. Hopefully at least some of these will end up in players' hands, not just collectors'. Even though these last ones have their place, too, of course.
My first thought was, gosh, I wish I could afford that!...
