Hi to all!
Does anybody know of anywhere in the UK where I can get some cane to have a go at making reeds for my pipes?
I play a set made by Mike York (UK) and he has made some very unSwedish type reeds and I think that they are not as stable as traditional swedish reeds...so I would like to experiment at making my own.
The advice on Ollies page is fantastic and thanks to him for the tremendous amount of work he has put in for the benefit of all pipers..and also for the Youtube videos of his playing.
I also play English Border pipes by Jon Swayne and am very happy with them...and I would like to get to the same stage of happiness with my Swedish set.
