No less than three pipers have this week received the honorary title Riksspelman on Swedish bagpipes (rough translation: piper of the realm). Congratulations to Per Jensen, Mikael Lund and Folke Dahlgren!

There are now 11 pipers bearing the title:
Anders Norudde and Bengt Sundberg (1989)
Erik Ask-Upmark (2004)
Anna Rynefors (2005)
Olle Gällmo (2008)
Alban Faust and Ulf Karlsson (2009)
Anton Olausson (2012)
Per Jensen, Mikael Lund and Folke Dahlgren (2013)
