Hello,
I am a new member. Just wondering if anyone here plays the theme from Fargo on your sackpipa. I read in some YouTube comments that it is originally Norwegian folk song but sounds like a sackpipa tune to me. It seems to fit the range and natural scale. I have been learning tunes off of Olles wonderful site on flute and after learning a few tunes the theme popped into my head.
Here is a link:

Also I am interested in possibly trading a wooden flute for a sackpipa is it alright to post a FT message here.

Thanks and lovely forum,
Patrick Dunn

Here's my advice, particularly if it's a good wooden flute: Sell the flute either on ebay or Chiff and Fipple, and then buy a set of Seth Hamon's injection molded pipes, which are quite affordable, quite durable, and quite tunable. The odds of working that trade here are slim, but there are alway the Irish lads out there looking for a wood flute.

I decided to check this out since I'm looking for tunes from Norway and I live in Minnesota and guess what...it works great! It feels like it was written for the pipes. Lots of room for expression. Too much fun!

My wife wanted me to try to get this uploaded here or at the tune site. I can't log onto that site so let's see if this link works.
